Finally…Elizabeth Edwards has kicked John to the curb for his cheatin’ ways. They’re separated.  But get this. “People” magazine reports before that happened, Elizabeth actually went house hunting with John to buy a $500,000 home for his mistress and love-child. What’s up with that?

Ever have one of “those” days, you know the ones I’m talking about, when everything seems to just grind your gears? Well I have the cure for that, it’s the Smooth Sunday Brunch from 7a 11a every Sunday morning. A great way to relax with your favorite cup of coffee or tea, the paper if you like or a great book and enjoy 4 hours of great smooth jazz on Kansas City’s only Smooth Jazz radio show.

The lower the Latitude, the better the Attitude!!

I just spent a week in the U.S. Virgin Islands, thumbs way up if you’re planning a vacation in St. John, St. Thomas or the British Virgin Island of Tortola.

The first photo is enjoying a “PainKiller” with Pusser’s Rum in Tortola. Second is a Caribbean Lobster giving it’s life for me.

Third, the view from our Caribbean Villla, Fourth, one of the dozens of Iguanas feeding in the trees all around the Villa.

Normally, I read trashy romance novels but last night I bought “The Hunger Games”, by Suzanne Collins. It’s so good that I didn’t want to put it down to go to bed and I have a sexy husband! It’s a novel for teens but adults are into it to, similar to the Twilight and Harry Potter books. It’s set in the future and reminds be of “Holes” or “The Giver”. The 16 year old heroine is involved in a “reality” survivor game where the 24 contestants fight to the death. I’m guessing she survives because this is the first in the trilogy.

For 20 years, I organized the Elvis parade in Kansas City and one of the stars was Nicole English.  No one could belly dance to “Jailhouse Rock” like Nicole.  You can see her this Sunday at Cafe Cedar in Parkville for a free belly dance party and competition. I got a call this afternoon from an old KY listener who found me on KUDL.   Brian Jeanneret lost his job at Sprint but he’s now doing something he really loves.  Repairing pinball machines and he said business is good. I told him that I’d pass along his number, 816-305-2154.  Give him a call if you’ve got a broken flipper.

For most of my life, I’ve had long hair.  I feel sexier with it swinging at  least to my shoulders, partly because my husband likes it.  According to Men’s Health magazine, guys who fell in love with you when you had long hair don’t want you to cut it, even as you get older.  But what looks good at 20 might not look good at 70.  How do you know when it’s time to pull out the scissors? This is a photo of Cyrstal Gayle who’s never cut her hair, other than the dead ends.

Actress Mo’Nique, who’s apparently no fan of the razor, showed off her hairy legs at the Golden Globes.  We’re not talking just stubble here.  They’re man hairy. Is that a Glamour Do or Don’t?
