Every evening on my drive home from the radio station, I pass a house still lit up for Christmas.  When do you take down your decorations or do you leave them up year round, especially the lights?  I still have my xmas wreath on the front door because it matches the snow on the ground.  Once that melts, I’ll take it down.  Maybe.

I got a poignant text from an 11 year old who wrote “I’m sad because I can’t get anyone to go out with me”.  Remember how you felt at that age?  Me neither.  But I’m curious.  At what age were you allowed to “go out” with someone of the opposite sex or are you still sitting by the phone waiting for that first call?  (Actually, who sits by the phone anymore when you’ve got a cell phone)

Love those dogs

Posted in: Tanna

butchI got a cool postcard from Karl Edwards, an artist who makes a living with custom dog portraits.  His drawing above looks just like my dog Butch.  So I gave Karl a call to ask about his business.  He says it’s a little slow but he’s standing by, with pen and ink in hand, ready to bring your beloved pet to life on paper.  Check out his website www.karledwards.com

O.K. I thought Ellen would be funnier. She’s adding nothing to American Idol. She’s a 4th judge too many if all she can do is agree with what everyone else says. I miss crazy Paula!

Four years ago, Reese Witherspoon divorced her man after she caught him cheating on her.  He’s now splitting with the “other” woman because he cheated on her too.  Can an unfaithful man be trusted or once a Tiger, always a Tiger?  Joyce, one of my KUDL Working Girls got burned twice.  Listen below to her story.

To Catch a Thief

Posted in: Tanna

Conde Nast has established a hotline for employees to anonymously report co-workers for theft.  Is a hotline necessary or isn’t office gossip enough to stop a thief?  Think about it as you walk out the door with a box of paper clips and a cool company pen.

Dirty Laundry

Posted in: Tanna

sheet washingA new survey finds the Brits wash their sheets just 3 times a year. I say the frequency is linked to whether your dog sleeps with you. If you’re choking on hair, it’s time to wash. Tracy, one of the KUDL promo babes, washes her sheets twice a week but she has a cat, dog and a husband who eats in bed.

Cell Phone Abuse

Posted in: Tanna

Check this video of Adam Lambert shushing a fan who was talking on her cell phone during his concert. He actually stopped singing and asked her to hang up. He’s a rock star and can get away with that. What about you? Have you ever asked a cell phone talker to hold it down or where you work is the customer, no matter how rude, always right?
