There’s talk of posting billboards shaming young men into pulling up their baggy pants, using the slogan, “Raise your pants, raise your image”.  It’s a prison culture thing where inmates aren’t allowed to wear belts.  Which do you think would be more effective in keeping the “pants off the ground”:  parents or billboards?

At the drive-thru at Starbucks this afternoon, I got the cheery greeting (which I like) and the sales pitch (which I don’t) I just wanted a double tall, skim, wet cappuchino with a half pump of mocha.  I don’t want to be queried about other potential drinks to try.  I know corporate makes the order-taker deliver the spiel but it’s annoying.

A “Cougar” was spotted wearing low cut jeans with her thong exposed, as well as her bra.  Is that a Glamour Don’t for a middle-aged woman or should you dress as young as you feel?

Wow! What a game!!! Double OT to move on to play Butler tomorrow, then on to Indy and the Final Four.  I’m also cheering for Michigan State to beat Northern Iowa (who beat KU).  I need a nap, it was a late one……..

Great weather on the way next week, spring may finally be here! Have a great weekend.

The “other” woman has been ordered to pay 9 million to a North Carolina wife for “stealing” her husband. Who should pay for infidelity or is there a fee for love lost? All I know is Tiger’s wife can really cash in. (What’s 15 x 9M? Wait, make that 16 x 9M. The numbers are still coming in)

Hey, KC! I’m so excited to be part of the KUDL airstaff! I invite you to tune into my show, Saturday Night with JD Jackson! It’s the biggest, live, local, interactive retro party in Kansas City….and last time I checked, in the entire universe! I play the best music from the 70’s and 80’s, at YOUR request. If you don’t call them in, then they’re at MY request. I DO have good taste in music, but this is YOUR party. Join me every Saturday night, 7 PM to midnight and call me at 576-7981, and I will get your song and YOU on the air, if you like. Your Saturday nights will never be the same! I expect to hear from you Saturday night!

I like to hang out with the KUDL office girls before going on the air at 2:00. Dorine was cracking us up with details of her visit to the gyno. We found that we all do the same thing: hide our underwear, either in the table drawer or on the door hook behind our jeans. I know it makes no sense but we all do it. Do you think female gynocologists do the same when it’s their turn?

Driving home from a weekend at my sister’s in Decatur, Illinois, I passed a house with a commode, tub and an old time wringer washing machine in the front yard. They were used as planters with little American flags poked in for a finishing touch. It had a Grandma Moses kind of charm but is it art or does it belong in a dumpster?
