Missing my baby

Posted in: Tanna

Katy Perry & Russell Brand have a rule. They never go two weeks without seeing each other. What’s your must-see rule? Do you have to see your mate every day or does it all depend on how long “girl’s night out” lasts?

To Kill A Tick

Posted in: Tanna

Sunday morning, I bush-hogged by dad’s field in southern Indiana.  Last night, I found a tick.  That’s two days and two showers later!  How do they hang on?  I told my husband that the only way to kill it was to burn it.  He said that was an old wives tale and tossed it in the trash.  You know that critter’s going to crawl out and find me.  I’ll have to start going to bed with a torch.

No Cuts!

Posted in: Tanna

Actor Jason Bateman cut in line to get a new iPhone at an Apple store in L.A. The 2,000 people waiting booed him. If you could get away with it, would you do the same? Check out the photo of the Apple clerk who’s holding back the crowd and the other Apple employee leading Jason into the store.

Vacation Romance

Posted in: Tanna

My first kiss happened on the beach during our annual family vacation.  I was 16.  I don’t remember his name, but I’ll never forget the kiss. Today, I read that 72% of women have had vacation romance. Have you, and did it lead to anything or was it just a brief, sweet moment in time…or a torrid moment in time.  Please share!

Brian called my show to wish all the new dads a happy Father’s Day.  Sunday will be his first, as he has an 8 month old.  He told me that he was going to be a better dad than his was.  I asked him what he meant and he said that his dad never showed physical affection or told him that he loved him.  Brian said he knew his dad did but he wanted to hear him say it.  How important is it for a father to say those 3 little words?

Hold the Door

Posted in: Tanna

So I’m walking into Macy’s and there’s a guy who gets to the door at the same time. I wait for him to open it. He does but walks in ahead of me. I thought he was going to hold it open for me. Isn’t there a “guy rule” that requires the man to be the door opener/holder? If not, would someone see about getting that enacted. (Just to refresh your memory, the photo depicts how it should go down.)

I just got off the phone with Melinda who has a little problem.  2 of them actually.  Her cousin, who’s like a sister, often drops her two kids off and expects Melinda to babysit, for free.  Melinda is a college student who works part time and could use the extra cash. How do you handle this one?

Shannon, one of my facebook friends said his wife, at age 50, still looks hot in a bikini. It was nice to hear a guy brag about his wife.  Now it’s your turn.  What is she best at? Cooking, cleaning or romance…and then some? O.K.  You might have to answer for your guy on this one, in case he says the wrong thing!  By the way guys.  Is Martha Stewart the perfect woman?
