Ok, I have to toot the horn of my brother in law Blake Lowe, who is truly talented. For my sons 2nd birthday, we go with themes, and this year, we decided that since he loves the drums, we would buy him a real drum set, yes I said real drum set, sure they are loud, but for a 2 year old, he’s got exceptional rhythm. Anyway, because the theme was drums, Blake, who does claymation characters built this drum cake topper for him. The bass drum kick peddle actually works and the high-hat works as well. It’s pretty cool really, and I’m proud to share it with you

Had the honor of riding with the Missouri National Guard on a Blackhawk Helicopter with Afternoon Drive host Roger Carson, 98 KMBZ Morning News Anchor EJ Becker and a host of other media pros. What a ride, many thanks to the Guard for the opportunity and to share information that we’ll share with you as we get it on when our men and women in uniform will be returning home to KC from Afghanistan and Iraq, Check out the pics of Roger and I strapping in for our ride

I just rode with the Missouri Army National Guard in a Blackhawk UH-60 Helicopter!
Just like the one Saddam Hussein rode in after his capture. We had a 30 minute flight
over the stadiums, downtown, and the Missouri River, then back to the Armory.
Every military personal on the flight has served duty time in Iraq, and are beyond
PROUD to have done so….thanks guys, you certainly have my respect!!
I asked Sergent Thompson if I could sign up, but I’m apparently WAY past the age limit!
