I had a chance to listen to the new Najee cd and it’s going to be awesome, it’s due out in stores on 8/25 and on I-Tunes the same day. You’ll be very impressed as he’s taking a new approach on how he writes his music. “Mind Over Matter” will certainly give you new perspective on Najee’s style and how he crafts this sound to fit the groove as it was inspired by Miles Davis’ approach to song writing, “just let it happen”, very loose and improvisational.
