Research finds that, in a new relationship, the guy is the first to say “I Love You”.  It’s because women mature sooner, are more realistic and in touch with their emotions. That defies the sterotype of the stoic male who’s afraid to commit.  Who broke down first in your relationship?  My husband did in ours.  I still remember when he said it. We were driving on the Plaza and he very casually said “luv ya”.  Yes, that counts!
