Hold the Door

So I’m walking into Macy’s and there’s a guy who gets to the door at the same time. I wait for him to open it. He does but walks in ahead of me. I thought he was going to hold it open for me. Isn’t there a “guy rule” that requires the man to be the door opener/holder? If not, would someone see about getting that enacted. (Just to refresh your memory, the photo depicts how it should go down.)

  1. I used to hold the door open for women (and men) if they were less than 10 feet behind me. But a few years ago, a woman yelled at me when I did, so I don’t anymore :(
