New research claims kids are dumber today because of technology; they don’t have to be creative when it comes to play. But why do we think we had more fun as a kid?  A couple of years ago, I wanted my son Sterling to experience the joy of building a tree house. I took him and his buddy Marshall to the Home Depot to get all the supplies. Ahhh the excitement.  For them, it lasted about 5 minutes.  I ended up doing all the work and they went back inside to play video games.
